Hand-painted Byzantine icons, written on wood boards prepared with real gesso, gilded with 22 - 24 Carat gold. Each icon is painted with traditional egg tempera medium and natural pigments. Images combine the expressiveness and sculptural quality of early Serbian and Greek iconography with the seamless technique of Russian Moscow School masters.
